51. Migraine Myths & Root Causes

Episode Summary

In this episode, I explain why migraines are not random, not a medication deficiency, and not a life sentence — especially for high-functioning, high-responsibility women who are “doing everything right” and still breaking down.

Episode Notes

Most women are being told migraines are genetic, random, or something they’ll just have to manage forever.

That belief keeps them stuck.

In this episode, I explain why migraines are not random, not a medication deficiency, and not a life sentence — especially for high-functioning, high-responsibility women who are “doing everything right” and still breaking down.

I recorded this episode because I see a pattern over and over again:

Women come to me for weight loss.

They lose the weight quickly.

And then they’re shocked when their migraines disappear too.

That’s not a coincidence.

Migraines are a neurological inflammatory response to a system that’s overloaded — hormonally, metabolically, emotionally, and neurologically. They’re a signal that the body is unimpressed with how it’s being run.
