It's Not You, It's Your Hormones

72. Rebuild Years: When Life Falls Apart

Episode Summary

This is for my girls in the middle of the messiest, most uncertain seasons of life right now. Including myself. I kept noticing every woman around me is navigating divorces, career pivots, new countries, new chapters they can't see the shape of yet. So I wanted to give you the pep talk I've been giving myself: rebuilding years aren't something to survive, they're the work.

Episode Notes

So many of my clients are in the same exact season right now. Divorce, career pivot, moving countries, leaving corporate, becoming a mom. The life they used to have is gone and the next one hasn't taken shape yet. And they're just sitting in the middle going, what the fuck is even happening.

I'm right there with you. I got deported from Australia with 28 days notice after eight years of building a life there. I left a relationship my visa hinged on. I walked away from a corporate career with stock options and a team I loved to start something with zero guarantees. Now I'm in Bali with no idea where I'll be in two weeks, and I had to learn fast that this in between season isn't something to survive. It's the actual work.

In this episode I'm breaking down what a rebuilding year really is, why most people waste theirs, and what separates the women who come out the other side completely transformed from the ones who stay stuck.

Save this for when life feels like it's falling apart. This is the pep talk you need for your rebuilding year.
