What happens to women who’ve overworked their whole lives when robots are doing the work? I pulled my car over in San Diego to write down one sentence from the godfather of AI, and it’s the clearest description I’ve ever heard of the women I work with.
What happens to overworking women when robots are working for us?
I pulled my car over on the side of the road in San Diego this week to write down one sentence from a podcast. One of the godfathers of AI was asked what his grandson should do with his life. His answer had nothing to do with a career.
I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Because I’ve spent most of my life as a human doing. So have most of the burnt out, high achieving women I work with.
So if the job goes, who are you?
I also get into the one pattern I’ve seen across thousands of calls that decides whether a woman actually heals her hormones or stays exactly where she is. It’s not time. It’s not money. And it’s definitely not more information.
If you’ve ever looked at your whole career and quietly asked, is this it? Press play.
